Terry Jacks 3 into the Stands

Dalhousie University Tigers center fielder Carl Terry put on a dazzling display of power today at Tigers Ballpark against the University of New Brunswick Seawolves. In the 9-2 Tigers victory Terry penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.

"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," University of New Brunswick manager Dave Moss said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."

Along with his three home runs, the 20-year-old had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Terry said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."

Carl Terry struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Leo Purser in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Karri Pirinen in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Karri Pirinen in the 8th.

This season Terry is batting .254 with 29 hits, 15 home runs, 37 RBIs, .386 OBP and has scored 28 runs.
