Thabit Skunks Huskies Thursday, April 4th, 1991 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the St. Mary's University Huskies as starter Yugh Thabit shut out the St. Mary's University Huskies 8-0 at Seahawks Ballpark. The Memorial University pitcher struck out 7 and walked 4 while allowing 4 hits. "Thabit was good but he wasn't flawless," St. Mary's University manager Douggie Hoyles said later. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Memorial University, but this is on us." To date this season Thabit has compiled a 3-4 record with a 4.96 ERA in 10 starts. |
