No Late-Season Magic Coming: Memorial University Out of Playoffs Sunday, April 7th, 1991 The Memorial University Seahawks put up a good fight in the 1991 playoff chase, but ultimately were missing a few ingredients needed to get there. Today, the club was officially eliminated from contention. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1988. In the last 10 seasons, the Seahawks have missed the playoffs 8 times. In total, the Seahawks have missed the playoffs 37 times in their 80-year history. Memorial University last won the Round 1 in 1974. |
