No Late-Season Magic Coming: Churchill HS Out of Playoffs Tuesday, April 9th, 1991 Looking at the bigger picture, Andrew Payne of the Churchill HS Bulldogs said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 1991 season. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1986. In the last 10 seasons, the Bulldogs have missed the playoffs 8 times. In total, the Bulldogs have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 15-year history. |
