Johnson Pitches 2-0 Shutout for Fairfax HS Tuesday, March 12th, 1991 Corey Johnson kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Fairfax HS Rebels were all smiles after winning 2-0 against the McLean HS Highlanders at Ballpark of Jersey City HS today. The right-handed Johnson gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits and had 12 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Johnson said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." |
