Wilson Injured, Will Miss Action Wednesday, June 26th, 1991 Douggie Wilson of the Big Stick was injured today during his routine morning run. "I felt a little pull in my leg while I was running. Doesn't seem too bad, but I'm going to get it checked out to be safe." Manager Takaaki Ishikawa commented, "I would put his odds of playing today at less than 50/50. It's just not really worth risking further injury." |
