Hit Streak Over, Big Stick Stop Logan
Monday, August 19th, 1985
Will Logan's 25-game hitting streak was snapped today at Big Stick Ballpark. The 26-year-old Monterrey Swordsmen left fielder failed to get a hit in 5 at-bats in the game against the Houston Big Stick, but Monterrey came out the winner, 7-5.

"I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Will," Swordsmen manager François Portier said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames."

So far in 1985 Logan is batting .330 with 2 home runs, 26 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 66 hits in 200 at-bats and a .417 OBP.
