Brusselaars Cruises to Shutout
|
Gidde Brusselaars was in a mood to talk following the Hazelton Mafioso contest against the Scranton Quakers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Quakers, 2-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Brusselaars said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Scranton on a 2-hitter, allowing 4 walks and racking up 7 strikeouts.
