Harrisburg Beats Lancaster in Round 2

The Harrisburg Pirates ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Lancaster Churns 14-8 to win the Round 2.
Harrisburg won the series 4-2, capturing the title for the 9th time.
"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Harrisburg manager Seinosuke Kojima. "It's a great feeling."
The champs finished the regular season 86-54 and claimed second place in the Penn.
In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and center fielder Raúl Vázquez said the Pirates have "great fans and they deserve this."
"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.

Churns on to Round 2

The Round 2 hopes remain strong for the Lancaster Churns.
The team tonight eliminated the Scranton Quakers with a 8-3 win, to capture the Round 1 3-1.
"We're rolling now," said Juan Baca, who was named series MVP. "The pitchers are pitching, hitters are hitting, look out. I expect us to pick our game up to another level in the Round 2."
The standout offensive performance from Baca included a .389 batting average, .421 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored.
The Lancaster Churns will play against the Harrisburg Pirates in the next round. Harrisburg won their series against the Hazelton Mafioso 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
