Bowen Bangs Out 5 Base Hits

Robbie Bowen was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Rabbits Ballpark, the Allentown second baseman blistered the Reading Rabbits for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 19-5 victory.
"Bowen was too tough to get out today," Rabbits skipper Zi-jun Zhào said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Robbie Bowen struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
For the season, Bowen is hitting at a .386 clip with 1 home run, 18 RBIs and has scored 18 runs. He has 44 hits, 9 walks and a .432 on-base percentage.
