Navarro Wins Award for LM (AA) Dominance

The Ligue Magnifique calls him the winner of the Reliever of the Year Award for 1991.

The Team Orange Sox relief specialist out of San Felipe, Venezuela, won the award with 6 saves in 36 relief appearances, 57 strikeouts in 133.2 innings and 62 walks.

He compiled a record of 9 wins and 3 losses and had a 3.30 ERA.

He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Haroun Akil of the Drummondville Voltigeurs finished second in voting, while José Alemán of the Longueuil Colossals finished third.
