Team Skunks Rimouski, 11-0
Saturday, June 15th, 1991
Xinpeng Zhuan bent a little, but he didn't break against the Rimouski Loggers. The Team Diamond Miners pitcher hurled a 6-hit 11-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering 3 walks and tallying 2 strikeouts.
"Xinpeng is good at getting out of jams," Diamond Miners manager Roy Kersey told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."
In pitching stats this season Zhuan has rung up 5 wins and 1 loss in 8 games. He has an ERA of 3.36 and has fanned 26 batters in 59 innings.
