Malloch Shuts Out Stray Cats Friday, June 21st, 1991 In an excellent mound performance, Aiden Malloch of the Cote-Saint-Luc Apples whitewashed the Saint-Constant Stray Cats 4-0 on a 3-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Cote-Saint-Luc hurler rang up 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Stray Cats manager Ross MacLennan. "Malloch did a good job keeping us guessing." |
