Chaschin Socks it to Apples, Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, July 24th, 1991 Serge Chaschin did more than his part as the Granby Rois topped the Cote-Saint-Luc Apples today at Apples Ballpark. The Rois third baseman pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 10-4 thumping of the Apples. Serge Chaschin doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. So far this season Chaschin has put up a .348 batting average with 113 hits, 15 home runs and 64 RBIs. |
