Bridgend Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 4th, 1991 The Bridgend Stars have run out of games to perform any sort of late-season miracle. As of today, they were mathematically out of playoff contention. The Stars have missed the playoffs 38 times in their 80 years as a Welsh Instructional League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 11th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1979. Bridgend last won the Round 2 in 1980. |
