Player of the Week: Iranian Academy's Kopp Monday, August 25th, 1975 Adrik Kopp is respected by most Iranian Academy Team Melli fans for his no-frills style of play. The 14-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the African-Asian Baseball Alliance Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .455 average (10-for-22) with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. In 36 games this season Kopp has compiled a .298 batting average with 39 hits and 5 home runs. He has also scored 22 times and knocked in 28 runs. |
