Irish Academy Takes Elimination Round Tuesday, September 10th, 1991 After their 9-5 win today over the English Academy Three Lions, the Irish Academy Norn Iron will advance to the Regional Finals. Despite coming out on the losing side, the series MVP award went to English Academy left fielder Tewase Kibasila. Kibasila told a reporter from the English Academy Citizen that he was disappointed in the loss, and hopes to be back next year competing for the Youth Cup Irish Academy won the series 3-1. The Irish Academy Norn Iron will play against the Italian Academy Azzurri in the next round. Italian Academy won their series against the Welsh Academy Y Dreigiau 3 games to 0. The Regional Finals schedule will be announced after the Elimination Round finishes. |
